OMG, I LOVE it!!!

Ahhhhh!!!!! OMG, I really loved this book!! After the way book one ended I had to know what would happen between Haley and Liam!! Once I started reading I was hooked and didn't put it down till the end.

My heart broke for Haley and Liam after the way things ended in One Chance part 1. I couldn't believe the things their own siblings did to them. In One More Chance you will see Haley and Liam continue to struggle. They both want to show they are strong, they both still love each other but will Haley and Liam ever make it back together or have they already moved on with someone else? Will Haley do the right thing and tell Liam the huge secret she is keeping from him?

I loved getting more on the whole gang as well. I love Quinn, she is such a hoot and an awesome best friend!! Will Brody and Kenzie finally grow up and make things right after all the hurt they caused? You definitely will want to find that out!!

That ending.....absolutely perfect!!!! I loved it!!!!

I could go on and on but all I have left to say is...go one click One Chance and One More Chance!!! You definitely won't be disappointed!!!

Jumped right in and yet again got sucked in and couldn't put it down. All the pain, passion, heartbreak, & love continues. T. Renee Fike another brilliant read.
One More Chance picks up a few months after Haley calls off the wedding for a "break" & Liam ends the relationship. Summer is over soon Haley will be back in school. She is still waiting for Liam to reconsider but he will not answer her calls. When Liam surprises everyone by moving on without Hails so easily she decides she too needs to find a way to move on. Liam engaged and happy is shreds her heart but she is glad he is happy. Will fate step in and bring these two hearts back together or will their careers and Liam's impending marriage be what Haley needs to finally know they are over even though she will always love him?

When pride gets in the way!

Beautiful and complicated this story has so many twists and turns it will have your head spinning but in a perfectly happy way. You would think they learned from their mistakes and try to be honest with each other! If that were the case then this would have been a very short book. They have to make these mistakes to grow as a better couple and let me tell you Liam had to do the most growing up! Pride is a terrible thing when it is bruised and that is what keeps these story going because Hails and Liam have forgotten the one thing that can make their lives better.... communication and honesty!
The hidden feelings and withheld information makes this for a nail biting read, no seriously, I had to go get my nails done after reading this book!
But after the nail biting and cursing at my kindle because I was as frustrated with them as their friends were, I was thrilled when they finally see the light!
A beautiful story that gives hope to those that don't think true love prevails. For me Hailey and Liam are proof that you can't fool your heart, it will always win!
I am so glad I got to read this amazing story.

About the Author

Joseph Albahari is author of C# 5.0 in a Nutshell, C# 5.0 Pocket Reference and LINQ Pocket Reference. He also wrote LINQPad - the popular code scratchpad and LINQ querying utility.

Ben Albahari is the founder of Take On It. He was a Program Manager at Microsoft for 5 years, where he worked on several projects, including the .NET Compact Framework and ADO.NET.

He was the cofounder of Genamics, a provider of tools for C# and J++ programmers, as well as software for DNA and protein sequence analysis. He is a co-author of C# Essentials, the first C# book from O'Reilly, and of previous editions of C# in a Nutshell.

Exceptional reference!!! Get several copies to have around. Cuts to the chase!!!

This is an exceptional reference. I like to page through it to get reminders of less commonly used concepts and keep them at the front of my mind. Highly recommended, and at this price have a copy at the office, at home and wherever your reading room is. Excellent choice at an excellent price.

A great reference for the vast landscape that has become C# 6.0...

Though the term "Pocket Reference" may evoke twinges of quaintness in the information always available in your face internet age, the Albahari brothers C# pocket reference still remains plenty useful. First of all, it organizes the vast, seemingly limitless, landscape of fundamental C# into a mere 200 pages. The material also unfolds in meaningful order, from most basic to more advanced, which an equivalent internet reference may not do. One big advantage of the analog ink saturated paper form is that it doesn't require electricity, at least not during the daytime, and provides a quick page flipping interface that requires no batteries, boot-ups or WI-fi connections. Of course, while programming most people will have electricity and an internet connection handy, so perhaps those advantages have wilted somewhat over time. So maybe it serves it purpose best by allowing programmers' eyeballs some much needed time away from computer monitors. In any case, the book also comes in electronic formats for those who prefer non bound digital reading. In either physical or virtual format, it provides a great C# reference and reading it cover to cover will give anyone a basic idea of what the fundamentals of C# can do.

The word "reference" has deep meaning here. No one should approach this as a "how to" book or as an exhaustive C# tutorial. Cramming all of this information into 200 pages means that each explanation has to keep to a few pages at most. As such, most of the examples are very simple and not typically very in depth. They mean to give a mere whiff or a taste of the functionality discussed and to provide general guidance. That said, the book will allow new comers to C# a curated tour of the language, which will allow for searching out more complex examples elsewhere. It excels mostly at organizing its subject matter and giving a frame of reference for "can C# do this?" type of questions. Seasoned C# veterans should have the majority of this book down cold. In this case it serves as a reinforcer or a memory jogger for infrequently used concepts. Possibly its most potentially valuable use is cramming before interviews.

Building on the term "reference," this book contains voluminous references for elements of C#: data types, operators, access modifiers, LINQ statements, XML documentation tags, etc. The basic concepts build into more advanced concepts including object oriented programming, variance and covariance, delegates, lambda expressions, asynchronous programming and countless others. The more advanced the book gets, the more supplemental information is required to fully grasp the concept. "C# 6.0 in a Nutshell," with its Titanic girth, fulfills this need and serves as a great companion to the Pocket Reference. Unlike the Pocket Reference, the Nutshell book talks about upcoming features, such as the Roslyn compiler. This edition of the Pocket Reference carries on a long standing tradition that stretches back to the earliest versions of C#. Each edition has highlighted new features and also increases greatly in page number. Any more pages and this Pocket Reference will begin to rip open jackets and pants, much to the chagrin of time starved and stressed programmers. For this reason, perhaps the electronic version will prevail in the future?

About the Author
Vamik D. Volkan is Emeritus Professor of Psychiatry at the University of Virginia School of Medicine, an Emeritus Training and Supervising Analyst at the Washington Psychoanalytic Institute and the Senior Erik Erikson Scholar at the Austen Riggs Center in Stockbridge, Massachusetts. He was the Medical Director of the University of Virginia's Blue Ridge Hospital and director of the University of Virginia's Center for the Study of Mind and Human Interaction. He is a past president of the International Society of Political Psychology, the Virginia Psychoanalytic Society, the Turkish-American Neuropsychiatric Association, and the American College of Psychoanalysts. He is also the author or co-author of forty books and the editor or co-editor of ten more. He has served on the editorial boards of sixteen professional journals including the Journal of the American Psychoanalytic Association, and has published more than four hundred scientific papers or book chapters.

He's been fortunate to have led many departments, teams and projects to successful results. Mr. Freeman is an Author, public speaker and Visiting University Professor. In addition, he is a Senior Project Manager at an international telecom company. He is also the founder and owner of a Project Management Consulting company. Throughout his management career, he has been responsible for the implementation and delivery of key, large-scale, IT multi-national, complex projects. He has managed projects for fortune 500 companies, such as, Disney, Accenture, TRW, Proctor and Gamble, Unilever, Nestle, Bristol Meyers Squibb, to name a few. With an MBA and a Master's Degree in Software Engineering, Jeff has been able to take on exciting corporate and entrepreneurial challenges. He has over 20 years of hands on Management, Business, Entrepreneurial and technical experience, working for several well established companies. He's a master team builder and performance motivator in many industries, including, Telecommunications, Entertainment, Consulting, Software Engineering, Banking, E-commerce and Aerospace. In his spare time, Jeff enjoys his family life with his wife of 23+ years and his Teen age son in California. Mr. Freeman is fortunate to have the opportunity to be a long-time Youth Sports coach in the Orange County community. He's had the pleasure of coaching Pop Warner Football, NJB Basketball, and Little League Baseball. In addition, he enjoys International Traveling, gardening, cooking, golf and singing in the Men's choir at his church in Yorba Linda, CA. Jeff learned early in life that he could only attain success by performing at peak levels. Throughout his long career in corporate America, Freeman studied how individuals and teams perform in the work environment. His observations eventually led him to create the Eight Pillars of Optimum Performance, a method that consistently reaps optimal results.
